In 1907, Lt.Col Robert S.S. Baden Powell held the first experimental Scout Camp at Brownsea Isand, in Poole Harbour, off the coast of England.  Scouting quickly spread around the world. There are many indviduals responsible for the arrival of Scouting in the United States.  A few of them are listed to the left.  You can find out more about them by clicking on their names.
